For nearly 15 years, Aeroflow Health has been an active, invested partner in AAHomecare, and I’ve had the privilege of working alongside leaders across our councils and coalitions who share a deep commitment to strengthening the HME community. Stepping into the role of Chairman is an honor I take seriously. I’ve seen what this industry can accomplish when we move with purpose, speak with one voice, and stay focused on a mission that unites us.
As Chairman, I want to continue to champion initiatives to protect patient access to quality HME by driving sustainable reimbursement across all payers, advancing our most critical federal and state priorities, and securing a 2028 Competitive Bidding round that delivers meaningful competition, real patient choice, and a stable supplier marketplace. I’m committed to pushing for stronger oversight and transparency within Medicare Advantage, Managed Care Organizations, and commercial payers so access isn’t compromised. The challenges ahead demand advocacy that is sharp, coordinated, and relentless.
We will remain focused on strengthening connections that bring our community together, creating opportunities for members to learn from one another, solve shared challenges, and shape the future of home-based care.
At its core, homecare is built on compassion. Every day, the HME community delivers training, education, medical products, and services that far exceed what reimbursement recognizes. This work is personal. It’s meaningful. And it’s carried out by people who consistently rise above obstacles to support patients where care matters most – at home.
I look forward to working closely with our Board, Executive Committee, and the volunteer leaders across our councils who help shape policy, strengthen our foundation, and drive progress.
