Complex Rehab & Mobility Council (CRMC)
The Council addresses key issues pertaining to the standard mobility and Complex Rehab Technology space and works closely with the consumer community to identify key legislative, regulatory,
and payer issues that could affect access and choice.
Our council is dedicated to expanding access to vital mobility solutions by monitoring standing frame coverage adoption and championing cutting-edge advancements in Complex Rehabilitation
Technology (CRT), especially when it comes to the innovative use of Titanium Carbon Fiber. We're committed to making a tangible difference in our industry.
Council members meet bi-monthly quarterly via Zoom plus in-person meetings at major industry events like Medtrade.
Current priorities of the Council and its work groups include:
- Assessing market challenges & rehab reimbursement at the state, federal, and payer level
- Securing Medicare coverage and funding for seat elevation technology
- Leading efforts to address “repair and service reform” initiatives
- Passing legislation to allow upgrades within a code
