How do I join a council?

Can additional staff members from my team join a council?
Yes!  Our open councils allow additional staff from your team to get involved. Please contact Stephanie Legree for additional information. 

How can I contribute to advocacy efforts?
Whether it's attending a fly-in, submitting a comment letter, or sharing a patient story, we’ll guide you on how to make your voice heard. For information on our Washington Legislative Conference, click here.  To send a letter to Congress, visit our Action Center. To get involved with our Grassroots Accountability Project, contact Stephanie Legree. 

Where can I find more information on federal legislation and regulations, payer relations, and state policy initiatives?
Start with our Advocacy & Policy page, which includes the latest news on our work supporting public policy initiatives and links to specific issue areas.  You may also visit our Resource Library for white papers, infographics, comments, and other information. 

How can I get the AAHomecare newsletter and alerts?
All primary contacts are automatically subscribed. To add more staff, send names, titles, and e-mails to info@aahomecare.org.   

What should I do if I’m not receiving e-mails from AAHomecare?   
Make sure to mark info@aahomecare.org and hme@aahomecare.org as a Safe Sender in your inbox settings. If that doesn’t work, contact us at info@aahomecare.org to confirm your subscription. 

Can my company be featured in a newsletter or campaign?
If you have a great story to tell, we’d love to hear from you. You can submit company press releases to Tilly Gambill to post on our Member News section of the website. If you’d like to provide a member testimonial or connect us with one of your customers or family caregivers who would like to share how homecare has helped their lives, you can e-mail Ashley Plauché. If you would like to share a story of how your company has served your community in natural disasters, you can submit here.

How can I get involved in webinars or submit a topic idea?

How do I log in or reset my password?
Click to the “Member Login” at the top right of the web page, and use your work email to access your member dashboard or request a password reset.

How do I update our company’s interests or staff listings?
Log into your account and select “Manage Company Profile,” or email Katie Mairena for assistance

When do I renew my membership?
Membership runs on a 12-month membership cycle. You’ll receive reminders in advance of your renewal period. 

Can we pay online or by check?
You can pay online, with check, or by ACH. You can access open invoices through the member portal or contact  Katie Mairena for assistance.

I’m not sure who to contact; where do I start? 
Visit our staff directory to find the right person by topic area, or email info@aahomecare.org for general support.
