Make Your Voice Heard
When Congress hears consistent, unified messages from providers across the country, they gain clarity on what is important to constituents. They understand the stakes. They see the impact behind the current programs and policies, and they are far more likely to act.
The HME industry has three bipartisan bills gaining meaningful traction in Congress. Congruently, AAHomecare is working with legislators to prepare additional bills to address the challenges expected in the next round of Competitive Bidding.
Last year, more than 120 HME stakeholders met with members of Congress and staff to raise the profile on policy priorities including Medicare reimbursement, proposed changes to NIV coverage, patient access to upgraded wheelchairs, Medicare Advantage, and proposed tariffs. Help us continue the momentum and make 2026 a year every member of Congress hears from a member of the HME community!
